Miles of biking, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing right out your door. 

This recently renovated apartment, with separate entrance, is in the lower level of our home on 12 acres bordering the Appalachain Trial corridor. It's the walkout/daylight basement below our living space. We're located at the end of a 3/4 mi dirt road. We're on the grid, but most of our electric power is solar and we have a whole house automatic back up generator which has hardly ever been used, but is nice to have. Since this is our home, we will be looking for a very compatible situation when choosing a person, or couple to stay here. No smoking, and no pets. We are two quiet semi-retired adults and a small poodle. We might be gone for several months over the winter. If you're looking for the ultimate rural setting in a nice apartment that is close to town.... this is a great spot!
