It is within easy access to Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center with a minimal traffic drive south on Highway 10 or Interstate 91. The location is approximately 1.5 miles east of Orford on Gov Meldrim Thomson Scenic Highway (State Route 25A) which provides quick access to the White Mountains as well.

Limited to a maximum of two people due constraints of the well and septic which are both shared with the apartment. Electricity and heat/hot water (propane boiler) are separate for the unit and not included in rent. Snow removal for main drive included. Back-up generator in place. May consider discount in rent for a self sufficient and independent tenant willing to help around the house with snow removal (deck, walking entrances, and to propane tank for refill) or other intermittent simple maintenance items.
