To add your rental properties to the Upper Valley Rentals List, please register for a new account or login to your current account.

Register for a new account or login to an existing one.

If you new to this site and a new Upper Valley landlord, please register for an account and then email the following information to

  • Username
  • Full Name
  • Local Address
  • Local Contact Phone Number
  • Address of the property you would like to list as available on Upper Valley Rentals

The Dartmouth Real Estate Office reserves the right to disallow a listing that it cannot confirm as valid or for any other concern. The Real Estate Office will make best efforts to verify all new requests within 72 hours, recognizing Dartmouth College holidays and office business hours. Thank you for your patience and consideration of using the Upper Valley Rentals list.

If you know your account username, but cannot remember your password, you can request that the site send you a renewal link.  The renewal link will be sent to the email address on file with your account.  If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folders.  If more than 10 minutes elapse and you receive no email, contact us directly as your email address may need updating.

Listing Your Properties

For each rental property you post to the Upper Valley Rental List, the listing fee is $75.00 and you would pay that online with a credit card at the time of posting the listing.  This online payment will keep your listing active on our site for 28 days from the date of payment.  Only one, single rental property permitted per listing (no advertising multiple rental properties on one single listing).

Please note that our office reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.  Per a municipal ordinance, no more than three (3) unrelated persons may live in one unit.             

Adding Photos

When editing or creating a new property listing, scroll to the bottom of the form and look for the Images section.

  1. Click on Add New Image. Each new image should be thought of as a photo slide with an Administrative Title, Image and Caption.
  2. Give the photo slide an Administrative Title. This title is not shared publicly, but makes it easy for you to identify when editing later.
  3. Click Browse to add an image from your computer. A new window will pop up asking you to Upload a new file.
    1. You can upload an image from your computer from this first screen. The image must exceed 810 pixels wide and 1 pixels high. Anything larger will automatically be scaled down to the proper size by the website for display.
    2. You may also click the My Files tab in the upper right corner of the window to choose a previously uploaded image from your library.
  4. If you upload a new image, click Next. The next screen will require you to enter Alt Text (descriptive text for the visually impaired).
  5. Click Save at the bottom of the window.
  6. Optionally fill out a Caption describing the picture.
  7. When you have an Administrative Title, Image and Caption, click Create Image and you will have your first photo slide.
  8. Repeat as necessary for up to 10 images. You may reorder the slides by dragging the crosshair icon associated with each photo slide.

Photo slides can be edited or removed simply by clicking those buttons on each photo slide row.
