Open spaces & forest trails for walking, hiking, cycling, trout fishing, x-country skiing, and snowshoeing. An ideal apartment for visiting faculty or researchers at Dartmouth, preferably one person or a couple. Available for the full 2026-2027 academic year (Sept 2026 to June 2027) on a multi-month lease. Start and end dates, however, are negotiable. Shorter leases of 1-4 months are also possible by agreement with the landlord.

The property is located in beautiful Woodstock, VT, just 2 miles from Saskadena Six and the Mount Tom hiking and x-country ski areas; 5 miles from the center of historic Woodstock and the Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park; and a half hour drive both from Dartmouth College and the Killington ski resort. Abracadabra Coffee Co. is located a ¼ mile away at the junction of Wayside Road and Route 12 (which takes you into the center of Woodstock). Both roads are well maintained and promptly cleared of snow during the winter, as is the property driveway.

Covered parking located right at entrance to guest house for up to two vehicles. Snow removal included (although you may occasionally have to shovel out the doorway area after snowfall during the winter months). Trash needs to be taken to the local trash service on Wednesday afternoons or Saturday mornings in nearby Bridgewater.
