Periodically, we offer homes for sale to College employees and the general public. Employees typically have first priority for purchase. Most homes are sold with a repurchase option, allowing pricing to remain affordable to future generations of College employees.
Character and a great sense of community define this popular Hanover neighborhood. People who live here value being in a quiet neighborhood that is still within walking distance of schools and many of the amenities of downtown Hanover.
Grasse Road homes range from 2-4 bedrooms and from 1,300-2,200 square feet and offer a wonderful variety of styles. All share a strong sense of classic New England architecture, and many are adorned with standing seam roofs and oriented with gable fronts. Homes in this neighborhood are sold to qualifying Dartmouth employees subject to an option allowing the College to repurchase the property at a capped (CPI adjusted) price. The option allows the housing to remain more affordable to future generations of College employees.
Each year only a limited number of Grasse Road homes are offered for sale. The Dartmouth Real Estate Office manages the sale of the homes, which typically occur at prices less than can otherwise be found in Hanover.
